The new building for Alrek Health Cluster is on track in terms of time and budget. Last week this was celebrated with “kranselag” and I was given a tour in the building. This will be a fabulous working place for us!
The Grimstad working group has given their report about medical education in Norway. This is relevant for the future strategy for our faculty, and I encourage everyone to read at least the abstract: Utredning fra Grimstadutvalget
The visit by rector Dag Rune Olsen and vice rector Annelin Eriksen gave us the opportunity to present some of our best research and education projects. The two visitors were very pleased and impressed by all we do, and I want to thank all of you who contributed. Next month, the dean, vice deans and heads of departments will visit IGS for our weekly meeting, giving the opportunity to present some other projects.
