From Guri – January 2021

The new year came with new and stricter pandemic regulations. Many now feel tired, which I fully understand. I keep my own spirit up by using our beautiful nature when I can, looking at the currently very low numbers of COVID-19 cases in our region, and by having good hopes (and patience) for the roll-out of vaccines.

Thanks to all of you who attended the digital general assembly this month! It was particularly exciting to have the prestigious Ugle prize given to our associate professors in social pharmacy Lone Holst and Reidun Kjome by vice rector Oddrun Samdal. They won the prize for outstanding work to renew and transform teaching and evaluation within their field – work that can have impact on a national level.

Congratulations again!
