Would you like to become better at writing good scientific articles?
The Research School in Public Health and Primary Health Care and the CIH-CISMAC Research School will together organize a writing seminar and writing groups for the PhD candidates at IGS this academic year.
We will start with a writing seminar that will be held (in English) by Associate Professor Ana Lorena Ruano, editor of the journal International Journal for Equity in Health. I have held many writing seminars in the past, and have received very good feedback from our doctoral candidates.
Those who are interested can also join a writing group. The groups will consist of six PhD candidates who will meet at least three times this autumn / winter. At each meeting, two of the PhD candidates will be able to receive feedback on their texts from two of the other candidates and from a group leader. The idea is that everyone will become better at writing good texts by getting feedback and giving feedback to others.
The seminar will be held at the Centre for International Health, on the 5th floor. The seminar runs from 12.30 to 15.00 on Wednesday, October 9th.
