November har been has characterized by a new partial lock-down at the university. I am impressed by and grateful for the stoicism you show, and for the will to keep wheels running!
Although we live in a country with a solid healthcare system, our jobs are safe, and much of our work can be done through the internet, many of us collaborate with people in less fortunate circumstances, be it the UK, the USA or in poorer countries. The situation is demanding for the world’s population at so many levels.
We need to take good care of all good news, from the smaller ones in everyday life, to the bigger research achievements, such as professor Thorkild Tylleskär, PhD Nicolas Pejovic and PhD candidate Susanna Myrnerts Höök and colleagues, who published an important study in the New England Journal of Medicine this month. This is inspiring for all of us – congratulations again!
