Permanent re-routing of the Campus bus stop to the patient hotel at Haukeland

As previously announced, the road north of the Central Block was closed to cars entering week 43. This happened because large steel elements for BUS 2 were hoisted into the construction site.

During the period Monday 21 to Friday 25 October, therefore, the Campus bus stop under the Central Block was moved to the intersection at the Haukeland patient hotel. The relocation was also a «test» of whether the new stop worked for the users. From the New Year, it will be closed again at the same area.

Following assessments from the trial period, we have determined the relocation of the stop to the Haukeland patient hotel will be permanently introduced, from Monday, October 28, 2019, until construction work is completed at BUS 2.
This is introduced because the work at BUS 2 makes it impossible to make reasonable and safe entry and exit from the Central Bloc.

We also note that delays on the campus bus schedules can occur, as cranes and trucks that are to unload are constantly blocking the road from the area.
The driver will always strive for punctuality, even if delays occur.
