I samarbeid med det Samfunnsvitskaplege fakultetet arrangerer vi seminar for å legge til rette til meir og betre forskingssamarbeid mellom medisinske og samfunnsvitskaplege disiplinar. Vi vil lære om fleirfaglegheit frå eit filosofisk perspektiv, og korleis fleir- og tverrfagligheit kan utnyttast som konkurransefortrinn i større forskingssøknader til for eksempel EU. Vi vil bli utfordra gjennom praktiske øvingar, og til å vere med på akademisk «speed-date». Seminaret blir avslutta med lunch, og vil foregå på Scandic Bergen City.

Faculty of medicine and Faculty of Social Sciences arrange a joint seminar to encourage more research collaborations between the two areas of scientific disciplines. In the seminar, we will learn about interdisciplinarity from a philosophic point of view and see how multi- and interdisciplinary approaches can be used as a competitive advantage in larger research proposals, such as EU. You will be challenged through practical exercises and academic speed dates. The seminar is arranged at Scandic Bergen City. Lunch is included.
