There was a lot of positive news in December, and we congratulate our researchers with securing funding, publishing in prestigious journals, and prizes awarded. The list may not be complete.
Funding granted
The Research Council:
Professors Kjell Arne Johannson and Astrid Blystad, both received grants of 12 mNOK from the Research Council.

- Steinar Hunskår har fått tildelt 10 millioner fra DIKU, til prosjektet «Flere praksisplasser og bedre veiledning for medisinstudenter på fastlegekontorene (FRONESIS)».
Samarbeidsprosjekt Alrek:
- Ingrid Miljeteig (ETØK – BCEPS) er tildelt kr 100.000 for prosjektet: Prioriteringsdilemma, moralsk stress og opplevd støtte under COVID-19-epidemien – En kvalitativ studie blant ledere og ansatte i sykehjem i Bergensområdet. Prosjektet er eit samarbeid mellom Det medisinske fakultetet, Psykologisk fakultet UiB, Bergen Kommune, Helse Bergen og University College London
- IGS er involvert i Helse Bergen prosjektet om Helseeffekter knyttet til håndhygiene og bruk av verneutstyr gjennom Forskningsgruppe for arbeids og miljømedisin
- IGS er også involvert gjennom Pandemisenteret i tildelingen til Forskning til folket Folkeopplysning om vaksine og virus gjennom teater til skoler og foreninger.

Prizes:
The teaching group in community pharmacy is awarded the Ugleprisen 2020. The title of the nomination is: Bedre samsvar mellom læringsutbytte og undervisning.
Vi gratulerer undervisningsgruppen i samfunnsfarmasi med tildeling av Ugleprisen 2020.Ugleprisen er UiBs interne pris for utdanningskvalitet. Prisen blir delt ut av Universitetets utdanningsutvalg til fagmiljø som kan dokumentere særlig vellykkede tiltak for studiekvalitet. Prisen er på 100.000 kr.
To forhold blir særlig vektlagt ved vurderingen:
- oppnådde resultat
- samarbeid mellom studenter, fagpersonale, og andre aktører både i planleggings-, gjennomførings- og oppfølgingsfasen
