With its general focus on current global challenges and sustainable development goals through courses on water, climate change, migration, maternal health, heritage and poverty, an overall aim of this year’s summer research school in Bergen is to explore the interface between science and policymaking, or “science diplomacy”.
Bergen Summer Research School 2019 offers a series of parallel multidisciplinary courses with top international lecturers to help you make your research play a role for a sustainable future. The research school is further tied together with common sessions on research tools, presentation skills, keynotes by high-profile researchers, plenary discussions, and an excursion into the Norwegian waterscape.
